Dr. Mark O'Reilly is a highly experienced Family Doctor with over 20 years in the medical field. He began his career after earning his MBBS from the University of Newcastle in 2001 and worked at prestigious hospitals such as Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and St George Hospital in Sydney. After spending a year in the UK, Dr. O'Reilly returned to Sydney to train in Oncology and Palliative Care, but later transitioned to General Practice and Sexual Health. He completed his training under the mentorship of David Baker and Marilyn McMurchie at 407 Doctors before joining East Sydney Doctors.

In 2010, he earned a Master's in Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University. Dr. O'Reilly then moved to Melbourne where he worked for over 12 years at the Prahran Market Clinic. During his time there, he became a qualified Sexual Health Physician and served as the clinic's Director. Throughout his career, Dr. O'Reilly has worked with Aboriginal communities on the Central Coast of New South Wales and served as an Emergency Medicine Registrar in Ireland. With his vast clinical experience, Dr. O'Reilly is also an active clinical advisor for the ASHM, a member of the Australian HIV Antiretroviral Guidelines Committee, and an educator in HIV medicine for medical students and GPs.
