L’Établissement Hautement Spécialisé Sbihi Tassadit est une clinique publique spécialisée en gynécologie, obstétrique et maternité, rattachée au Centre Hospitalier Universitaire (CHU) de Tizi Ouzou. Fondée dans les années 1980, elle a été un modèle d’excellence dans la région, offrant des services de qualité aux femmes enceintes et aux parturientes. Cependant, au fil des années, l’établissement a traversé des périodes difficiles, notamment après sa gestion par le secteur public, ce qui a entraîné des défis en matière d’hygiène, de gestion et de disponibilité des spécialistes .

L’établissement dispose de 82 lits et assure une moyenne de 30 accouchements normaux et 20 césariennes par jour . Il est équipé d’une banque de sang et offre des services d’hémodialyse, de laboratoire et d’imagerie médicale. Cependant, des défis subsistent concernant l’hygiène, la gestion des gardes et le nombre de médecins spécialisés .
