Anqing First People's Hospital Affiliated to Anhui Medical University was founded in 1953 and has grown into a modern, comprehensive teaching and tertiary hospital serving Anqing City and surrounding regions. With advanced diagnostic technology, specialized departments, and a strong focus on patient-centered care, the hospital plays a leading role in healthcare delivery, medical education, and clinical research.

As a teaching hospital, it provides practical training and internships for medical students from Anhui Medical University and conducts clinical research in collaboration with national and provincial health authorities.

Speciality

The hospital provides comprehensive medical services across 49 clinical and medical technology departments. Its cardiology department offers diagnosis, interventional treatments, and cardiac surgery for conditions like coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, and heart failure.

The neurology department focuses on stroke treatment, epilepsy management, and neurological rehabilitation, combining advanced imaging with expert therapies. The oncology department provides multi-disciplinary cancer care, including chemotherapy, radiotherapy, targeted therapy, and surgical oncology.
