About Us
Established in 1967, Hau Giang General Hospital has now become a grade II general hospital, with a team of specialized staff, deep expertise and suitable, modern equipment to ensure emergency care, medical examination and treatment, medical staff training, line management, disease prevention and scientific research, application of science, technology and modern techniques to serve patients in Hau Giang province and neighboring areas.
The predecessor of Hau Giang General Hospital is Le Huu Sanh Hospital. In the plan to improve the facilities, the Hospital has invested in new construction and relocated to the current headquarters with a 4-storey building to increase the number of patient rooms, with a total area of ​​over 50,000 m2. 
With a scale of more than 600 beds, 8 functional rooms, 6 paraclinical departments and 19 clinical departments. With a team of 100 doctors (07 BsCKII, 41 BsCKI, 05 ThsY, 47 doctors), 222 nurses (31 DDDH, 24 DDCĐ, 167 DDTH) and 238 experienced and dedicated support staff. The hospital system and examination department of Hau Giang General Hospital receive examination and treatment for more than 500 patients per day, has been and is contributing greatly to improving community health care and helping to reduce the overload of upper-level hospitals. 
Over the years, the Hospital has made strong changes, developed technical expertise and improved the spirit and attitude of serving patients, gradually regaining the trust of the people of the province. The team of doctors and nurses of the Hospital always wholeheartedly love patients, follow Uncle Ho's teaching "A good doctor must be like a mother", follow the Code of Conduct for medical staff, "innovate the style and attitude of medical staff towards patient satisfaction".
