The hospital originated as the Goiter Station in 1990, later evolving into the Quang Ngai Endocrinology Center in 2007. On January 1, 2022, it was reorganized and upgraded to Quang Ngai Provincial Endocrinology Hospital. The hospital specializes in the management, consultation, and treatment of endocrine diseases, diabetes, thyroid disorders, metabolic syndromes, and related chronic conditions. It also implements provincial programs for the prevention and control of diabetes, iodine deficiency disorders, and hypertension.
