About Us :

St. Paul's Hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia is a teaching and research hospital that offers a variety of medical and surgical programs. It's one of the oldest hospitals in the Providence Health Care system, a Roman Catholic faith-based health care organization.

History:

The Sisters of Providence opened St. Paul's Hospital in 1894 in Vancouver's West End.
The hospital has undergone many changes over the years, including growing from a 25-bed wood-frame building to a 548-bed facility.
In 2020, the hospital's downtown Vancouver land was sold to Concord Pacific for almost $1 billion.

Positive experience recovery from surgery on the 10th floor. Nurse Linda decorated the floor with Christmas trees and snowflakes lifting spirits. Exceptional team of clinicians working collaboratively. Experience in the ER later in “fast track” was rough, but I can only imagine how challenging working in that environment is. Found a little chapel on the 3rd floor to pray in. Beautiful hospital. Overall care great. Thank you.
