Connecticut Children’s NICU at UConn Health Center is a Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit serving as a crucial part of the Connecticut Children’s regional perinatal program and a leading referral center for the care of sick and premature newborns in central and northern Connecticut. Since its founding in 1975, the NICU has helped thousands of infants, combining expert clinical care and access to pediatric specialties with a strong emphasis on research, education, and innovation. The team includes highly trained physicians, nurses, and therapists, committed to family-centered, round-the-clock care and support
