In the early 1980s, a considerable number of young medical professionals participated, having the privilege of obtaining training in hospitals around the world. From then on, the Chiriquí Hospital Society was founded in May 1986 with the support of distinguished business leaders from the country. Construction of this hospital center, covering an area of ​​approximately 12,500 square meters, was finally completed under the direction of architect Lettfalah Nader.

Chiriquí Hospital opened its doors to the Panamanian community on July 2, 1988, comprised of a full team of 40 medical professionals and specialists, focused on providing high-quality service and implementing the ethical and moral principles that have distinguished us to this day. 

The need to create Chiriquí Hospital arose from the need to introduce a specialized private care center designed to provide cutting-edge medical and technological services. By prioritizing the needs of our patients, we have been tasked with constantly updating our technology and medical services, adapting our modern infrastructure to meet market demands and adapting to the diversity of medical specialties we incorporate each year.
