About Us :

Inaugurated on January 31, 2014, the Unidade Avançada do Hospital Geral Tarquínio Lopes Filho in Matões do Norte serves as a regional reference center for trauma and emergency surgeries. With an investment exceeding R$ 4 million, the hospital was established to provide high-complexity care to residents of Matões do Norte and 13 neighboring municipalities, including Anajatuba, Arari, Belágua, Cantanhede, Itapecuru-Mirim, Miranda do Norte, Nina Rodrigues, Pirapemas, Presidente Vargas, São Benedito do Rio Preto, Urbano Santos, Vargem Grande, and Vitória do Mearim.
