It provides 24-hour emergency services for trauma, clinical, surgical, orthopedic, and neurological emergencies, as well as specialized care for victims of venomous animal accidents. The hospital has clinical, surgical, pediatric, and intensive care beds, and offers elective surgeries in multiple specialties. It also performs diagnostic imaging and laboratory tests for the region, supports a medical residency program in several specialties, and is recognized for its humanized care approach, following the National Humanization Policy
