About Us :

Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Public Hospital – the current Hetényi Géza Hospital-Dispensary – was built more than 100 years ago and began operating in 1896. Since the start of operations, numerous hospital developments and reconstructions have been carried out. The first developments took place during World War II, then from 1953 to 1955, and in the second half of the 1960s. Although the construction of a new county hospital site in the northern part of the city of Szolnok was proposed in the early 1970s, the idea failed, so a decision was made to develop and reconstruct the existing county hospital in several stages. As a result of the development, by 1975 the hospital – in addition to the reconstruction of the original functions – was expanded with a 268-bed internal medicine pavilion, and then by 1982 a new building was completed, which housed obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, central laboratory, and central radiology. In parallel with the construction, the pulmonary hospital, the New Saxony pulmonary sanatorium, and the city's primary care were also integrated into the county hospital.

Hello everyone I had a cardiology examination today. Since I didn't have a recent EKG, I had to go through this first, approx. After waiting 10-20 minutes, which I don't think is much. The lady who did the examination is extremely nice, cute and professional in her work!!! Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but surely many people know who he is. I would also like to thank him for doing his job so well and for being extremely kind and friendly. At the same time, I would like Dr. Dóra Péter Cardiologist dr. to thank Mr. for his behavior during the examination, which could be exemplary for many doctors!. In his work, he is professional, thorough, friendly and very humane.! It's not a good thing when you go to the hospital, but at least it's comforting that there are still conscientious doctors to whom it's good to go back if you have to!

I would also like to thank Dr. Cheers to the chief physician Attila Csertö and his fairy assistant! I had a gastroscopy, which, let's face it, is a scary thing, at least I thought so. The doctor and his assistant are very kind and empathetic. They explained every moment during the examination, reassured and reassured. It is famous for its humanity, but it is also stellar. It wasn't as horrible as I thought, and the examination was only minimally unpleasant, and all without sedation. Once again, thank you very much, I appreciate it!
