Kalawati Saran Children's Hospital (KSCH), established on 17th March 1956 by Dr. Sheila Singh Paul, is one of India's leading pediatric hospitals. Situated within the campus of Lady Hardinge Medical College, it serves as a central government-run referral hospital dedicated to child health. The hospital was inaugurated by Lady Edwina Mountbatten, Countess Mountbatten of Burma, and was built from the proceeds of property donated by Mr. Raghubir Saran and Mr. Raghunandan Saran of New Delhi. It is named after the wife of the late Mr. Raghubir Saran. The hospital has a rich legacy of providing comprehensive pediatric care and has been at the forefront of pediatric education and research in India.
