The history of the hospital's foundation begins at the turn of 1780-1781, when the Order of Public Charity opened the first "charitable" institution in the Yaroslavl province. On November 16, 1865, the hospital was accepted from the Order by the Zemstvo and received the status of a provincial hospital.
The founders of Yaroslavl medicine Karl Fedorovich Virkau, Gustav Germanovich Falk, Nikolai Vasilyevich Solovyov, Oskar Yakovlevich Prevost, Ivan Nikolaevich Katsaurov and many others worked within the walls of the hospital.
      Currently, the State Autonomous Institution of Healthcare of the Yaroslavl Region "N.V. Solovyov Clinical Hospital of Emergency Medical Care" is a modern multidisciplinary institution providing round-the-clock specialized, including high-tech medical care, to residents of the region and other regions of the Russian Federation.
      The hospital structure includes: an admission and diagnostic department, an operating department for anti-shock measures, two anesthesiology and resuscitation departments, two neurosurgical departments, six traumatology departments, a combustiology department, an endoscopic surgery department, an ENT department, as well as cardiology and therapy departments. The hospital employs about 200 doctors and more than 340 mid-level medical workers.
      Inpatient departments are deployed with 473 beds. The hospital has 25 operating rooms, in which more than 200 surgical interventions are performed every week. Every year, more than 15,000 patients are hospitalized in the hospital and more than 13,000 operations are performed.
