I cannot express how grateful I am to the neurosurgery unit. My brother had a blood clot removed from his brain after suffering a stroke, and being found slumped in the street. His swift transfer to Queens, and immediate surgery saved his life, and he received good nursing care in the immediate post-op period, before his transfer back to the referring hospital. The specialist technique performed had wonderful results, and his recovery has been nothing short of amazing.
