After talking to 1177 about the symptoms my 4 month old son has, I was referred to the hand's local hospital. When I first called, they said they didn't have an appointment for quite some time due to staff shortages. They recommended calling a private BUMM so I could get help quickly. But after only a few minutes after we ended the call, she called back and announced that they had received a cancellation and that I could come in in 2 hours. And when I meet the doctor, she is absolutely wonderful and incredibly good at explaining everything. And everything went so well during the entire stay. Thank you to all the staff we had the opportunity to meet, you made a new mother feel calm and safe.
