The history of healthcare in the Shegarsky District begins in 1936, when by Order No. 1 of the Shegarsky District Health Department dated 03.04.1936, based on the Resolution of the Presidium of the District Executive Committee of 8 February 1936 No. 243 "On the procedure for the formation of new districts", technical personnel of the Kozhevnikovsky and Tomsky District Health Departments were selected from the regular staff of the Kozhevnikovsky and Tomsky District Health Departments to organize the Shegarsky District Health Department.
The district hospital for 15 beds in a wooden structure was located in the village of Bogorodskoye. The Shegarsky District Health Department employed paramedics, a bakins inspector, a statistician-clerk, a midwife and a dentist, but already in 1939 the district had 55 hospital beds, 2 outpatient clinics and 11 medical stations in the villages. Later, an infectious diseases department joined the hospital.
In 1942, due to constant spring flooding, a decision was made to move the hospital to the village of Melnikovo.
Antonina Yakovlevna Solyanik was appointed the first chief physician of the Shegarskaya hospital .
In 1946, the foundation of the district hospital building was laid, and already in July 1951, the new one-story building housed maternity, surgical, therapeutic and infectious disease departments.
The new, currently operating 3-storey building of the clinic was completed in March 1987
