About Us :

Sidney & Lois Eskenazi Hospital, part of Eskenazi Health, serves as a cornerstone of public health in Marion County. Established in 1859, it has evolved from a smallpox treatment facility to a comprehensive healthcare system. In December 2013, the hospital relocated to a state-of-the-art campus designed to promote health, wellness, and sustainability. The new facility emphasizes patient-centered care, integrating mental and physical health services.

Trauma Care: Home to Indiana's first adult Level I trauma center, providing comprehensive emergency services.
Burn Services: Operates the state's only verified adult burn center, offering specialized burn care.
emergency Medicine: The Michael & Susan Smith Emergency Department is equipped to handle various acute conditions.
Mental Health Services: Integrated mental health care through the Sandra Eskenazi Mental Health Center.
Women's and Children's Services: Provides comprehensive care, including a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).

my elderly mother was there for a visit, I live afar, we were on face time together. the way they handled her from the moment she rolled into emergency room, the level of care is remarkable, even ensuring a safe return home. we are extremely grateful for this network of people. although it was farther in traveling time, we chose to have her transported there because of the amazing care she receives already from her pcp Dr. Robles. They did not disappoint. This experience made us sure about their genuineness, they are highly organized within chaotic situations, competent in patient care and we are confident in any plan of action they form for her health. I owe Eskenazi hospital my life. They have helped me at many different stages of my life & I’ve only lived in Indy for 4 years now.
