1. Came here for ultrasound. Radiology staff were amazing. My waiting time for this visit is short. Senior Radiologist Trudy Chang is really professional and very warm.
Edit: Came back for blood work. Phlebotomist Angela Tan got my vein in a single try. I struggled to find my own vein even though I’m in the med/surge field.
2. Taxi stand at SGH Blocks 2 / 3 has been restored after almost 3 years of renovation, windy and more comfortable waiting area. A new self-service Halal cafe - "Rempah by Chilli Padi" replaced the unpopular Kaki Makan near the Blocks entrance.
SGH services & efficiency have improved tremendously since the SGH Campus Masterplan was introduced. Almost all the staff working within these 2 Blocks (e.g. the Diagnostic Radiology Department, Centre For Digestive & Liver Diseases, Specialist Outpatient Clinics, Immunology Hub, Ambulatory Endoscopy Centre, Pre-admission Testing Centre, Medical Social Worker Office & etc) explain things in a way laymen could understand. Most importantly, patients are now been treated with respect and courtesy. Keep up the good work!
