Serving South Central Wisconsin since 1912, SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - Madison is an American College of Surgeons-verified Level II Trauma Center, a Joint Commission-certified Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center, and has a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. We offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient treatment and diagnostic services using the latest medical advances. Our goal is to serve the community and play an active role in it. Absolutely magnificent hospital great team, of professionals, here nurses doctors everybody has been so kind. They’ve totally helped me. It’s very very painful situations that they can deal with the best they took me in and it wasn’t long for me to be seen and next thing you know admit it and yeah, pretty much if it wasn’t for them I would be very, very sick and they Made my stay there very pleasant and got me better fast. I had a great experience at St Mary's Hospital. The registration staff was very friendly and guided me up to the Surgical Department. The Preop nurses were all great and friendly. I was glad I had time to meet with the Chaplain before surgery! Dr. Bendawald was great answering all of my questions and put me at ease before surgery. Anesthesia staff was great! They made me feel very relaxed going into surgery. After surgery I went to the floor and the nurses were all great. They were all very helpful and kind. I was very pleased with my care at St Mary's! Thanks for the great care!
