1. St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital, located near Brisbane city, has been around for many years, and accordingly, the building and limited, expensive car parking reflects this. Public transport is limited, and one must be able to climb many stairs. However, in my experience, what this hospital does offer is a dedicated, knowledgeable team of health professionals. In addition to this, l was also impressed with the admin, kitchen, and cleaning staff.
2. Volunteers very kind & helpful in directing to right lifts, toilets, cafe etc. Good to sit outside the front looking at contrast of older & modern building. Also wonderful tree as pictured. Going down towards cafe many interesting historical memories of the hospital & also artwork on the right with special windows as in photos.
Hospitals can mean a lot of time waiting for appointment times etc so take the time to look both sides. Also to right of Cafe at end is machine for your parking
