St. Martha’s Hospital, Bengaluru was founded in 1886 by the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd (also known as the Sisters of the Good Shepherd) in response to the urgent need for medical aid to those affected by the epidemic of plague & famine. SMH welcomes with open arms, all people of varied backgrounds to an environment of tranquility, holistic healing, and compassion. What began with only 50 beds has now grown into a multi-specialty hospital with over 300 beds. We are animated by our philosophy of loving compassion for the poor and the suffering. SMH seeks to provide the best possible healthcare in a spirit of selfless service free from a motive of profit to all people, without distinction of caste, creed, or race.

treatment and advice on pain management were excellent, above par service from Syed and speaks. Appreciate the calmness, and counsel on the first day to diagnose the problem is also good.

The best hospital in the vicinity. with affordable costs compared to other hospitals or nursing homes with parallel facilities. it is been our hospital of health and hope since my childhood and many children of my family are born there.

I had server shoulder and neck issues before I joined the physiotherapy sessions here and now I'm almost healed and feel much better. thanks to Sharon and Latha Ma'am they did an amazing job and were extremely professional in their approach and practice and highly recommended them.
