Founded in 1878 by three Hospital Sisters of St. Francis, St. Mary's Hospital: Emergency Room is an all-private room health care facility that combines modern technology with the caring spirit of the original founders. Took my Dad for shortness of breath, a real emergency. They took him right in and had him comfortable quickly. Then came the tests, results and he had to be admitted. Fantastic medical care and everyone and I mean everyone was so nice!

I went to St. Mary's ER for a post surgical rash. I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. Each staff member had great bedside manner. They all explained their rationale behind each decision and procedure. They cared about my needs. I'll definitely be choosing this hospital in Decatur, IL over any of the other hospitals in the area.
