The Szent Borbála Hospital, known today, was built on Dózsa György út and has been continuously expanded over the years, thus becoming the largest healthcare institution and modern healing healthcare center in Komárom-Esztergom County.

Several investments have been completed recently. Previously, we built a new hotel wing. Comfortable, small-bed wards were built, and the operating room was modernized. With the consolidation, internal medicine and manual professions were placed in a uniform cubature, and patient care is concentrated on one site. We purchased high-tech diagnostic and therapeutic instruments and devices. The manual block has insulation and heating that meet 21st-century expectations, and solar collectors ensure the hot water supply. We created an emergency department on more than 1,100 m2 for approximately 1.2 billion forints, with a helicopter landing pad located nearby. We modernized premature care, and purchased high-tech and digital technology-based therapeutic and diagnostic devices suitable for electronic communication. The radiology department was renovated: we purchased ten modern devices used in radiological diagnostics and therapy. The total value of the four types of investments listed is nearly ten billion forints.
