I recently visited the Texas Children’s Hospital Emergency Room with my daughter, who was seriously ill and in urgent need of medical attention. We had to wait for about 7.5 hours, and it was a very difficult and emotional experience for me as a father. My heart ached not only for my daughter but also for the many other children and families waiting patiently in pain and worry. Despite the long wait, I understand how overwhelmed the emergency room can be, and I truly appreciate the work the staff is doing under pressure. I kindly and respectfully ask the hospital leadership to consider implementing a system to better prioritize and support patients who are in critical condition, so they can receive care as quickly as possible. In the midst of this experience, I want to express my deepest gratitude to a kind and compassionate nurse named Natasha. Her warm and gentle behavior brought some peace to my heart. She truly made a difference, and I thank her sincerely. May God grant health and success to all of you working in this hospital. I have no bad intentions in sharing this message—it simply comes from a place of care, love, and concern. This world is temporary; let us treat one another with kindness and love while we are here.
