Tung's Taichung MetroHarbor Hospital was established in 1971 by Dr. Jai-Chin Tung, a respected surgeon dedicated to serving the Shalu, Taichung community at a time when medical resources were scarce. The hospital has grown from a 30-bed facility to a major regional teaching hospital with 1,200 beds. It is strategically located in central Taiwan, only a 6-minute drive from Taichung International Airport, making it highly accessible for both local and international patients. The hospital is committed to respecting life, promoting health, and providing high-quality, patient-centered care to the community and beyond.
