Wellstar Children’s Hospital of Georgia, located in downtown Augusta, is the second-largest children's hospital in Georgia. Established in 1999, it offers world-class care to children from newborns to young adults. The hospital provides a full spectrum of pediatric services, including a 24/7 Pediatric Emergency Room, a Level II Trauma Center, a Level IV Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and the only Level I Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) outside of Atlanta.

I've taken my nephew, niece, and daughter here, and every time, the experience has been amazing. They make you feel at home and that they truly care about your child. My niece was the only one that had to get admitted, and it was scary, but we prayed, and God blessed us with amazing doctors and nurses and wouldn't go anywhere else. I am here for a 4- night epilepsy study. I came in Monday morning and I leave on Friday. It's Thursday morning and I LOVE the day staff up here! My favorite nurse actually understands people, she doesn't judge and has actually gone out of her way to give me a diamond painting kit that she got from a cruise she just got back from!! As bad as I miss my husband and my girls.. I think I'm going to be a little upset to leave!!

We have had nothing but good experiences each and every time we have come. When my 10 month old grandson was diagnosed with cancer, the oncology department stepped up and did a wonderful job. When it was time to remove the tumor, they made the right choice in sending him to Cincinnati Oh. The nurses on the 5th floor and the Oncology Department are wonderful.
