It is staffed by a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, pediatricians, neonatologists, nurses, and public health specialists. The hospital participates in national and international health programs, ensuring up-to-date practices in maternal and child health. However, like many provincial hospitals, there is an ongoing need for more trained pediatric and neonatal staff, and collaboration between pediatricians and obstetricians is being strengthened
