Anupam Kumari

Dr. Anupam Kumari has been dedicated to women's healthcare for nearly two decades. She began her career as a Resident Doctor at Nalanda Medical College, focusing on maternal health and gynecological surgeries. In 2010, she joined Ranchi Women's Health Centre, where she worked as a Senior Consultant, specializing in high-risk pregnancy cases. Currently, she serves as a Lead Consultant at Gaya Mothercare Hospital, where she oversees comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care.

Dr. Kumari has contributed to several research projects focusing on maternal mortality in rural India and advancements in prenatal care. Her research on the impact of anemia during pregnancy has been published in reputed journals, including the Indian Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has also participated in international conferences to present her findings on maternal and fetal health.

Dr. Kumari has been recognized for her exemplary work in the field of obstetrics and gynecology. She received the “Excellence in Maternal Care” Award from the Indian Medical Association in 2017 and was honored with the “Best Obstetrician Award” by the Jharkhand Medical Society in 2020.

Dr. Anupam Kumari is the author of the book "Caring for Mothers: A Comprehensive Guide to Obstetric Care" (2019). She has also contributed to numerous articles in journals such as the Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology India and the Maternal Health Review. Her writings focus on improving maternal health outcomes and addressing challenges in rural healthcare settings.
