Arunabh Ray

Dr. Arunabh Ray has extensive experience in public health, policy development, and healthcare financing. Currently, he serves as the Country Director, India, at Maternity Foundation, where he oversees healthcare strategies across Southeast Asia and Africa. Prior to this, he worked as a Senior Technical Specialist at ACCESS Health International, where he played a pivotal role in implementing India's largest social health assurance scheme, Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PM-JAY), in Uttar Pradesh.

His experience also includes working as a Consultant for the Asian Development Bank, where he contributed to the development and implementation of health insurance schemes aimed at achieving universal health coverage in India. Additionally, he has held leadership positions in organizations such as Novartis Healthcare, Bharat Biotech International, UNICEF, and ACCESS Health International, focusing on global health initiatives, vaccinology, and healthcare economics.

Dr. Ray has contributed significantly to the field of public health research, particularly in maternal and child healthcare, policy implementation, and health system strengthening. He has authored over 20 research publications covering various aspects of public health, including healthcare financing, vaccine implementation, and emergency health response strategies.
