Dr. Akber Alamyar is a highly experienced general practitioner with 24 years of experience in general practice. He completed his MBBS at the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 1989. After finishing his degree, Dr. Alamyar became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 1997 and the Australian College of Rural & Remote Medicine (FACRRM) in 1999.

In 2007, Dr. Alamyar joined his current practice and has since become a leader in skin cancer medicine, focusing on the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of skin cancer. He runs the skin clinic and has been working exclusively in skin cancer medicine since achieving his Cosmedical Diploma in 2010.

Dr. Alamyar’s wealth of experience has allowed him to specialize in rural and remote healthcare, bringing critical care to underserved populations. He has a deep passion for preventive health, particularly in the field of skin cancer screening and early intervention, and has become a trusted figure in his community for his expert knowledge and dedication to patient care.
