Dr Alexandra Sweeney

Dr. Alexandra Sweeney completed her medical degree in 2020 and undertook her internship and residency at Wollongong Hospital, gaining experience across a wide range of medical specialties. She then pursued general practice training in the Illawarra region and became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2024. With 4 years of medical experience, Dr. Sweeney now practices at EM Medical in Wollongong, where she provides comprehensive, patient-centred care. Her special interests include women’s health, dermatology, and preventive health, and she is dedicated to helping patients of all backgrounds lead healthier lives through holistic care.
