Experience

Dr. Andrew Sun has been practicing as a General Practitioner (GP) for over 10 years since completing his MBBS at the University of Queensland in 2011. After completing his medical training, he worked in 13 hospitals and clinics across Queensland and the Northern Territory, gaining invaluable experience in critical care, general medicine, and rural health.

Dr. Sun is passionate about preventive health and believes in the philosophy that prevention is better than cure. He has special interests in acne & skin care, men’s health, sexual & reproductive health, and longevity medicine. He is highly trained in dermoscopy and has a Professional Certificate in Dermoscopy, which has significantly improved his approach to skin cancer screening and treatment.

In addition to his practice, Dr. Sun is a Medical Officer in the Australian Army Reserves, where he advocates for veterans' health and supports the Australian Defence Force with healthcare needs. He is currently expanding his skills in medical acupuncture, coming from a family with a background in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Sun is also intrigued by complementary therapies, such as the role of animals, music, and games in maintaining wellness, and he incorporates these into his clinical practice when relevant.
