Dr Anjali Rajapaksa

Dr. Anjali Rajapaksa earned her MBBS from Monash University before working in Canberra at the Royal Canberra Hospital and Woden Valley Hospital. She went on to serve as a registrar in Obstetrics, Gynaecology, and Emergency Medicine at Wollongong Hospital, and completed her GP vocational training locally. With over 15 years of combined experience since graduation, she joined the team at Wollongong Family Practice and now provides comprehensive care with a particular focus on women’s health, paediatrics, adolescent wellbeing, and LGBTQIA+ inclusive services.

Dr. Rajapaksa is committed to ongoing professional development and medical research—especially in women’s health, adolescent care, and preventive medicine. She participates regularly in clinical audits and attends workshops to keep her practice aligned with the latest evidence-based care guidelines.

Dr. Anjali Rajapaksa is a Melbourne-trained physician with postgraduate experience in both public hospital and community-based care.
