Dr Asha Nair

Dr. Asha Nair is a highly experienced General Practitioner with over 35 years of international medical practice. She began her career in India, then advanced her training and clinical expertise in London and Singapore, before relocating to Australia in 1991. Since then, she has provided compassionate, high-quality care in urban and community settings across New South Wales.

Her clinical interests span a wide range of disciplines including internal medicine, women's health, community geriatrics, mental health, and chronic disease management, particularly diabetes and hypertension. She is known for her patient-centric approach, commitment to continuity of care, and her strong emphasis on preventive health strategies.

Dr. Nair has contributed to public health research projects during her MPH studies, including community-based approaches to diabetes prevention and women’s reproductive health in multicultural populations. Her interests include health education, equity in care for elderly populations, and early screening programs. She continues to advocate for community health through outreach and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
