Dr. Bhavani Jayabalan has over 17 years of experience in the medical field, starting her career in 2006 after graduating from the National University of Singapore. She has since gained extensive expertise in Family Medicine, particularly focusing on women’s health, weight management, and the management of chronic conditions like asthma and diabetes. Dr. Jayabalan moved to Wollongong in 2015, where she became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2016. She practices at the Ochre Medical Centre, Wollongong, providing comprehensive family healthcare services. Her work also includes shared care for pregnant women and addressing menopause-related health concerns. In addition to her clinical work, she serves as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer at the University of Wollongong, contributing to medical education and mentoring.
