Dr. Bilyana Konstantinova has been practicing as a Geriatrician for over 20 years since completing her MBBS at the University Teaching Hospital, Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1998. She immigrated to Australia and completed her advanced training in geriatrics at St. George and Sutherland hospitals, obtaining her FRACP in 2010.
Dr. Konstantinova has extensive experience in geriatric care and ageing-related conditions. She worked as the Head of the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Campbelltown and Camden hospitals, where she also led the Hospital in the Home program at CCLHD. She has been a Staff Specialist and Senior Geriatrician at Gosford Hospital (Central Coast Local Health District) for several years, providing geriatric services for both inpatients and outpatients.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Konstantinova is passionate about education and holds a Senior Lecturer position at the School of Medicine, University of Newcastle. She started her private consulting rooms at Campbelltown Private Hospital in 2014 and has continued to work in the community by visiting nursing homes and supporting GP centres in the Mid North Coast.
