Experience

Dr. Clair Ancher has been practicing as a General Practitioner (GP) for over 18 years since completing her MBBS at the University of Newcastle in 2004. She also completed an architecture degree at the University of Sydney before pursuing medicine, which has shaped her holistic approach to patient care.

Dr. Ancher has worked across South Western and South Eastern Sydney throughout her career, with a focus on child health, women's health, and preventative care. Her special interests also extend to travel health, where she provides advice on vaccinations and safe travel practices.

Before becoming a general practitioner, Dr. Ancher worked at Sydney Children's Hospital for two years, focusing on paediatrics. She later decided to transition to general practice, where she found a more fulfilling way to make a lasting impact on her patients' health over the long term.
