With over 25 years' clinical experience, Dr Roy is renowned for his expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of all aspects of general Cardiology including chest pain, breathlessness, hypertension, dizziness, ischaemic heart disease, cardiomyopathy, cardiac arrhythmias, palpitations, and blackouts.
Dr Roy, who consults privately at Nuffield Health The Holly Hospital and at The Rivers Hospital, originally qualified from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 1998. He is highly proficient in all aspects of Cardiology, including echocardiography, pacemaker implantation, and coronary angiography procedures. Dr Roy undertook his higher specialist training on the prestigious South Thames rotation, practising at leading hospitals in Surrey, Sussex and London including St Thomas’s and St. George’s Hospital.
As an expert in cardiac pacing, Dr Roy has received specialist training in cardiac resynchronisation therapy for the management of heart failure and implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD) implantation, for the treatment of life-threatening arrhythmias.
