Dr. Deepak Prasad graduated from Mysore University, South India, in 1999 with an MBBS. After completing his undergraduate studies, he pursued specialist training in radiology in the United Kingdom, finishing his radiology training at the North-East Scotland Deanery.
In 2009, Dr. Prasad completed a fellowship in colonic and small bowel imaging at University College London Hospitals (UCLH) under the guidance of Professors Steve Halligan and Stuart Taylor. He continued to build on his expertise with a comprehensive abdominal imaging fellowship at Leeds Teaching Hospitals in 2010.
Dr. Prasad worked as a Consultant Abdominal Radiologist at Bradford Teaching Hospital and was affiliated with the Digestive Diseases Centre, Bradford. He was also the lead trainer for abdominal radiology at the Leeds Radiology Academy.
In 2013, Dr. Prasad moved to Australia, where he joined PRP Diagnostic Imaging, bringing with him over 14 years of experience in abdominal and colonic radiology, specializing in colonic imaging, small bowel imaging, and abdominal CT/MRI.
