Dr. Derek Hadwen trained in General Practice and has a diverse background in hospital medicine, including significant experience working in Emergency Medicine at Mona Vale Hospital and Gosford Private Hospital Rehabilitation Unit. He has also served as a Senior Medical Officer with the Australian Red Cross Blood Service, where he developed valuable expertise in blood transfusion medicine and patient care in critical environments.
Dr. Hadwen joined Qualitas Medical Practice in May 2018, where he practices as a General Practitioner. He has a special interest in children's health and holds a Diploma of Child Health (DCH). Dr. Hadwen enjoys the variety of challenges that general practice presents and has built a reputation for delivering high-quality preventative care and treating a broad range of conditions, from acute illness to long-term health management.
