Dr. Fumitaka Nonaka has over 25 years of medical experience. He began his career in Japan in 1998, where he worked as a general ophthalmologist and provided essential eye care services to local communities while completing his PhD in Ophthalmology. After relocating to Melbourne in 2009, he expanded his expertise through subspecialty training at The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, Monash Health, and the Royal Children’s Hospital.
At present, Dr. Nonaka practices at EyeClinic Albury-Wodonga, focusing on general ophthalmology and paediatric care. He provides surgical services including cataract surgery, oculoplastics, and strabismus, serving patients of all ages through both public and private hospital systems. He also contributes to the paediatric service at Monash Children’s Hospital, delivering compassionate and comprehensive care in complex cases.
