Dr. Gavin Soo is an experienced Orthopaedic Surgeon with a career spanning over 15 years. After completing his medical degree at the University of New South Wales in 2002, Dr. Soo went on to complete his Orthopaedic Surgical Training in Sydney, NSW. He further specialized by completing a shoulder and elbow fellowship with Specialty Orthopaedic Group, Sydney, where he gained expertise in arthroscopic and open surgical techniques.
Dr. Soo has spent much of his career treating patients with complex orthopaedic conditions, focusing on shoulder and elbow surgery, knee surgery, and complex trauma surgery. He is currently employed as a VMO Orthopaedic Surgeon at St Vincent's Hospital, Darlinghurst, and is accredited at multiple hospitals, including Norwest Private Hospital, Mater Hospital, Waratah Private Hospital, and St Luke's Private Hospital.
As a Conjoint Lecturer at the University of New South Wales, Dr. Soo imparts his knowledge to future orthopaedic surgeons, helping shape the next generation of healthcare professionals. He has also dedicated part of his career to volunteer work, providing orthopaedic care as an outreach surgeon in East Timor.
