Dr Gloria Marchioni

Dr. Gloria Marchioni is an experienced General Practitioner with over 18 years of medical practice. After completing her MBBS degree, Dr. Marchioni initially worked in the Southern Highlands for 13 years before relocating to Wollongong in 2015. She has a diverse range of experience, particularly in women’s health, aged care, and musculoskeletal problems.

Dr. Marchioni has also developed a passion for general skin checks and minor procedures, allowing her to offer comprehensive care to her patients. Fluent in Italian, she is able to serve a diverse patient base and has worked closely with medical registrars and medical students, contributing to the education and training of future healthcare providers. Additionally, Dr. Marchioni serves as an examiner for the Royal College of GPs and the Australian Medical Board, ensuring that medical standards are upheld across Australia.

Dr. Marchioni’s primary research focus has been on women’s health and aged care, with particular interest in preventive medicine and chronic disease management.  she applies evidence-based practices in her general practice, particularly in skin checks, musculoskeletal problems, and minor procedures. Dr. Marchioni’s commitment to education and mentorship through her work with medical registrars and students reflects her ongoing contribution to advancing medical practice.
