Experience

Dr. Kasun DeSilva has over 10 years of experience in the medical field. After completing his MBBS at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, in 2011, he went on to specialize in Cardiology and completed his Master of Medicine in Cardiology in 2017. Following his studies, Dr. DeSilva worked in Sri Lanka and other parts of Asia, gaining experience in cardiac care, preventive cardiology, and echocardiography.

Dr. DeSilva moved to Australia in 2018, where he became registered with the Medical Board of Australia. Since then, he has been practicing as a Cardiologist, focusing on heart disease, cardiac diagnostics, and preventive care. His expertise includes echocardiography for heart imaging and preventive cardiology, where he helps patients manage hypertension, cholesterol, and diabetes to reduce the risk of heart disease. Dr. DeSilva is passionate about early diagnosis and intervention to improve cardiovascular health and patient outcomes.

Dr. DeSilva practices in Bathurst, where he continues to provide high-quality care to his patients and work towards better heart health in the local community.
