Dr Lisa Fernandez

Dr. Lisa Fernandez is a General Practitioner with 9 years of clinical experience. She graduated with a MBBS from James Cook University, Queensland in 2013 and completed her internship at Cairns Hospital before moving back to her hometown, Wollongong, to complete her hospital training at Wollongong Hospital. Dr. Fernandez has a strong background in Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics, having completed an Emergency Medicine Certificate and a Diploma in Child Health. Her clinical interests include Antenatal Shared Care and Women’s Health. Outside of her professional practice, Dr. Fernandez enjoys traveling and baking, balancing her personal and professional life with a sense of adventure and creativity.

Dr. Fernandez’s focus has been on women’s health, paediatrics, and emergency medicine.  her work incorporates evidence-based practices in paediatric care and antenatal shared care. Her Diploma in Child Health has significantly enhanced her clinical practice in paediatrics, and her ongoing development in emergency medicine reflects her commitment to keeping up with the latest advancements in patient care.
