Experience

Dr. Lyn Fong has over 20 years of experience in general practice. After completing her MBBS at University of Queensland in 1999, she spent 10 years working as a solo general practitioner in Brisbane and Sydney. Dr. Fong also gained experience working in regional medical practice in Central Queensland and later joined group medical practices in Sydney and Canberra.

Dr. Fong has a strong interest in mental health and is an accredited GP provider of focussed psychological strategies. She works closely with clinical psychologists and psychiatrists to manage a wide range of mental health issues, preparing mental health care plans and reviews.

Dr. Fong is also passionate about women’s health, lifestyle advice, preventative care, and chronic disease management. She integrates medical treatments with lifestyle prescriptions for managing chronic conditions.

She has been practicing at CBD Medical Practice since 2007, where she continues to offer holistic care with a focus on individualized patient care.
