Dr. Maria da Costa has been a General Practitioner (GP) for over 35 years since completing her MBBS (Hons II) at the University of Sydney in 1988. After her internship and residency at Westmead Hospital, Concord Hospital, and The Children’s Hospital in Camperdown, Dr. da Costa went on to complete her FRACGP (Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners) in 1993.
Throughout her career, Dr. da Costa has gained extensive experience in all aspects of general practice, with a special focus on women’s health and antenatal care. She offers comprehensive preconception and antenatal care, working with her patients throughout their pregnancies. Dr. da Costa is also skilled in managing chronic diseases, such as diabetes, hypertension, and asthma.
She has completed further training at the Menopause Clinic and Women’s Hospital, Paddington, and is passionate about women’s health, including managing menopausal symptoms and offering hormonal replacement therapy.
