Dr May Su

Dr. May Su is an experienced General Practitioner with over 15 years of practice, having graduated from the University of Sydney in 2005. She is also a GP Supervisor and the Academic Lead (GP) for the Higher Education, Master of Psychiatric Program (HETI). Dr. Su's experience spans across a broad range of general practice, with specific interests in complex care, mental health, women’s health, sexual health, and children's health.

She is accredited to perform IUD and Implanon insertions, providing essential care in family planning and reproductive health. Passionate about preventative health, Dr. Su actively works towards improving community education and health awareness. She has developed and facilitated seminars on topics such as early childhood health and development, post-natal anxiety and depression, complex care, and family abuse and violence.

Dr. Su has a strong background in mental health research and preventative care, particularly focusing on psychotherapeutic interventions in general practice and the management of mental health in complex care settings. Her research interests also include early childhood development, post-natal mental health, and the impact of family violence on both physical and mental well-being. Dr. Su is an advocate for integrated care models, incorporating psychosocial and medical care in primary health settings.
