Dr. Nilanthi Kanapathipillai is an experienced General Practitioner with over 18 years of clinical experience. She graduated from Monash University Medical School in 2001 and completed her secondary education at Methodist Ladies College in Melbourne.

Dr. Kanapathipillai began her career in critical care medicine, where she gained extensive experience in tertiary and rural hospitals including Monash, Dandenong, and Sale. She completed her critical care training at Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and worked as the sole registrar in the Critical Care Unit at National Capital Private Hospital in Canberra for four years until 2016.

In November 2019, Dr. Kanapathipillai joined The Gardens Medical Group, bringing her wealth of critical care experience into general practice. She is dedicated to providing holistic, patient-centered care and has a strong interest in chronic disease management, particularly heart disease and respiratory conditions.
