Dr Patricia Overvliet

Dr. Patricia Overvliet has 9 years of experience in general practice, having completed her MBBS in 2011. After obtaining her degree, Dr. Overvliet pursued her special interests in minor procedures and women’s health, becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2017. She is skilled in performing a wide range of minor medical procedures, including suturing, biopsy collection, and skin cancer excisions. Dr. Overvliet is also passionate about women’s health, particularly in the areas of reproductive health, hormonal disorders, and menopause management. She is committed to providing comprehensive care that focuses on preventive health, early diagnosis, and patient education.

Dr. Overvliet has been involved in research on women’s health, specifically regarding menstrual disorders, contraception, and menopause management. Her research has also examined minor procedures and their role in improving patient care in general practice settings. Dr. Overvliet has published findings on early intervention in women's health issues, as well as best practices for performing minor procedures in primary care.
